Prison Epistles is designed as a 3 credit course. This course includes 44 lectures at approximately 45 minutes each. It is an exegetical study of the epistles of Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon, including the background of each book, its major emphases, theological implications and practical application.
- To familiarize the student with the major themes and content presented in the Prison Epistles
- To inform the student of the various theological and practical implications of the material presented in this portion of Scripture
- To acquaint the student with the historical and cultural background of the Prison Epistles
- To provide the student with exegetical insight into these books through both lecture and assigned personal research
- Lectures 1-3a: Introduction
- Lectures 3b-13: Ephesians
- Lectures 14-22: Philippians
- Lectures 23-29: Colossians
- Lecture 30: Philemon
